#asktheexperts my daughter is 1 year 2months and 4 days back we have stopped mother's milk. from last two days she is having cold and cough. using Phenylephrine Hydrochloride & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Drops IP(5mg+2mg)oral drops from two days and still didnt decrease. can you suggest any medication?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. you may give the medicines as prescribed by doctor Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
