#asktheexperts my daughter has got cold and my doctor is out of station.. can you please give me the name of medicine or advice something that i can do now

A. should I give steam with plain water or need to add something in it

A. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.ggt Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

A. give steam .Cough and cold may be due to any seasonal change and due to any viral infection . Ste can be given at home and if cough is much then asthakind can also be given to baby 3 times in a day and paracetamol for the fever .
