#asktheexperts My daughter had fever which reduced after 5 days, now she complains of stomachache and keeps vomiting 1or 2 times a day. What to do??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly give easily digestible food for few days like rice dal khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana poha upma and do not give milk to the child. also it is advisable not to give any milk products like outside milk cerelac milk powder cow milk animal milk. you cannot give chocolate and icecream. you cannot give outside food as well as preservative food. avoid giving raw food and also sugary food avoid tea coffee. if required your doctor will add antacids as well as anti colic medicines for your child after 2 episodes of vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 7ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food.d do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid gdiving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello this can be due to infection and it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which would be better and also safe and nothing to worry about
