#asktheexperts my daughter age is 2year from birth to till date cough level very high how to take care about this issue

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / xnebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet foodc also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give indirect steam to the baby. Also give honey to the baby mixed in Luke warm water. Please massage baby neck with desi cow ghee before going to bed. Medicine can only be given after proper checkup by a doctor.
