#asktheexperts my child is starting thumb sucking after feed also and for sleep also she wants thumb sucking so I started pacifier and with it she easily able to take nap or sleep but my in laws are not allowing to use pacifier.... let me know is it harmful to use pacifier in 2 months or I should leave her as thumb sucking???

ExpertDR MINAL ACHARYANutritionist3 days agoA. dear mum , thumb sucking at this age is a normal developmental milestone of baby known as mouthing babys way of exploring things , soothing avoid pacifier it can risk infection affect teeth

Rashmi GuptaMom of a 11 yr 11 m old girl3 days agoA. See pacifier is not a good thing to be given and also taking the thumb into the mouth while sleeping is not good you can keep taking the thumb out otherwise you can check with the doctor that if you can apply Femite to get rid of this habit
