#asktheexperts my breast feeding baby 3 months old had regular bowel moment of twice thrice in a day suddenly he didn't poop since two days and passing lots of smelly gas ...what to do?

KalaMom of a 2 yr 3 m old girl2 years agoA. my 2month old baby didn't sleep well at night time every oñe hour once she got wake up ànd ask milk she drank and sleep frequently she did like that way....in the morning she is sleeping more than 3 hours..what was confusing about that she have took milk properly from me or not??? how I know??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
give proper burping
