#asktheexperts My baby was ill and UTI was detected.we frequently tested her urine and found that pus cells are getting reduced but in slower rate. Septran antibiotic was included in her treatment after culture. Note:after 5 days of severe fever she is okay and fine till date but the pus cells are reducing slowly. Question: could you please guide as to is she still have any infection and usually how much time it takes for baby UTI to cure fully with no or less than 5 pus cells. My Baby girl is 10 months old. A. 10 to 14 days as per culture report More proper information and answer regarding this will be given by your personal doctor and you can contact your doctor for this You can check with the nearest doctor. Take care.
