#asktheexperts My baby was 18montgs old and her appetite drop down a lot and going to white poop sometimes not full white ,she was not taking medicine any home remedies to improve her appetite and digestion

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Loose motion are mostly infective which could be bacterial or viral in origin.
the most important thing is fluid and electrolyte imbalance which can cause dehydration and further complications which should be managed properly.
Initially probiotics can be given along with zinc supplement and ors solution.
Antibiotics should be given if required by the doctor onfly .
