#asktheexperts my baby vomits after few hours of formula feeding. first we tried similac, she had projectile vomiting . so we changed to aptamil. but she vomitted after giving aptamil too ( for one time) . is it common to vomit after trying formula feed to the baby and is there any need to give colicaid before feeding???

A. Namaste Mom, Little bit of vomit as such is normal and acceptable and does occur mainly due to reflux action as such but if the baby is puking out the feed as the whole that he has had then this occurs due to intolerance.

A. Ma’am you have to know this thing that kids have very poor digestion and stomach reflux so it’s not about formula feeding or a brand it’s basically about the child is going to vomit whether the child breastfeeding or formula milk due to poor digestion and reflux issues so there’s no need to give medicine as if you’re facing problem with different formulas like this you can just consult your doctor once and add some funnel seeds into water that you boil for making formula which will help in helping in avoiding colic and gas related issues and will help in better digestion
