#asktheexperts my baby us almost 2 yr old now. But according to age and height he is not gaining weight? Please suggest me any specific diet or anything that i can do to help gaining his weight.

A. Hello Mum, There is no need to worry if your child is healthy and active. To make your child gain weight, ensure your child get the right nutrition for their growing age. Try nutrition dense foods to aid in weight gain. Some recipes you can try are nuts ladoo, seeds, peanut Chikki, makhana, Dal chilla or cutlets, Ragi porridge, vegetable paratha, fruit milkshake etc Hope this helps!

A. Foods for weight gain in toddlers (above 1 year) jowar dosa: you can make uttapam with carrot topping. Jowar makes bones strong and helps to gain good weight. ragi mudde with rasam or any soup. Boiled egg – boiled eggs have more nutrition than scrambled eggs.
