A. If your baby has missed a few vaccinations, it’s important but not a serious problem as long as you catch up soon. Vaccines can usually be given later through a "catch-up schedule" recommended by your pediatrician. Delaying some vaccines might leave your baby temporarily unprotected, but it’s not too late. Visit your doctor as soon as possible to review which ones were missed and make a plan to complete them. Do not restart the full schedule—just continue from where it was left off. Staying up to date helps protect your child from serious illnesses.
