Fever is a response of the body to any kjind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating.
and you can also do cold sponging of the body if requvired

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. So You can give paracetamol to your child if your child very well covered with clothes and blankets and start doing cold sponging as well because if you do all these things together the fever is going to reduce down really very fast
