#asktheexperts my baby isn't passing motion when consulted pediatrician they suggested dufalac suppository if baby doesn't pass motion for 1 week. we gave 2 times for 2 weeks, baby is on mother feeding and why is this happening. when will baby pass motion without any medicine. please suggest on this.

A. It’s okay if the child is constipated in this age if the child is comfortable showing no sign of discomfort and there is actually no need to give suppository also but if the child is uncomfortable then again you can put a suppository into the anal region it will help in clearing the system within 3 to 5 hours
