#asktheexperts my baby is two and half months old now he is not pooping regularly but when he poops the texture is pasty and mustard color but sometimes skipping one or two days is it normal

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yes that's is completely normal. because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowel movement is ok, do continue only breast feeding.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Yes it is normal, If your baby is only being breastfed they may not poop every day. This is because their body can use up almost all the components of breast milk for nutrition and there is very little left that needs to be eliminated. After the first 6 weeks or so they can go even a week or two without a poop.
