#asktheexperts my baby is suffering from high temperature...I give her CALPOL in morning around 5am but again she have fever

A. Fever has a tendency to repeat every 4 to 5 hours which is why you are suggested to give medicine every six hours to the child so this is what you can do after around 11 o’clock you can repeat the dose of the medicine again for the child

Q. My 4 yr daughter had fever of around 101°, so gave her calpol at 5am and 11 am, the fever wasnt decreasing. Around 4pm, temp was 102.4, so i gave meftal p, and fever reduced. At 11pm, temp was 99°, unsure if I should gove medicine or no, I gave calpol. But now at 5am next day, temp is again around 101. Please suggest, if i should continue calpol or meftal? And should the medicine be given every 6 hours, regardless of the temperature?
