#asktheexperts My baby is not sleeping peacefully she is continuesly making sounds while sleeping,moving her hands and legs and then after sometimes cries. But when we place her in our lap,she sleeps peacefully. She is 1month old.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 1 month old and she doesn’t sleep well at night so give her enough milk and burp her properly and see if she is getting comfortable sleeping conditions

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. knw why this can happen due gas trouble is common in newborns and is a cause of discomfort . Give tummy time to baby . Give only exclusive breastfeeding to baby . Burp baby for atleast 20 minutes on shoulder after each feeds . Massage baby tummy gently . Give drops gastica 1 ml 2 -3 times a day . Colic pain worsens at evening and night and baby cries at night and is unable to sleep due to pain . Give colic aid / drops meftal spas 0.5 ml at evening time . Breastfeeding reduces chances of colic pain .
