#asktheexperts My baby is not opening his mouth to eat.. very difficult to feed him solids. He hardly eats 2-3 tsp

A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common. Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp ziincovit CL can be given fogr 1-2 months to increase the appetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

Add this is every child eats like this only they don’t have a proper appetite to eat whatever you are afraid so this is why they eat very less food and they behave cranky also so try to keep the consistency of the food semi-liquid and then gradually shift to semisolid along with that I would also advise you to add all the necessary spices to the food includingWrite Your Answer Here
