Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. baby usually turn over the side, bye 3 to 4 months of age by 3 to 4 months, partial neck holding comes, and the baby will start sitting with Support by six months of age and by 7 to 8 months, baby will sit without Support by the age of nine months, baby, start crawling and in 10 months baby stand with Support after 12 to 15 months baby will start walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer time, but you should not give any kind of walker to the child because it can cause recurrent fall injury and delayfg in walking because the child will lack confidence of walking independently, any kind of delay in milestone should be access properly by the doctor
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. If baby isn't sitting on their own by age 9 months , contact your pediatrician. It may be good to act sooner, especially if your baby is close to 9 months and cannot sit with support. Development varies from baby to baby, but this may be a sign of a gross motor skill delay.
