#asktheexperts my baby is having motions from last 3 days and I m giving him medicine for the same too but getting no result...he poop while having milk only

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loosre motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Then it could probably be due to some kind of a stomach infection you go ahead with further investigation and then start with medicines on that basis and also for the temporary basis I would advise you to shift to completely non-lactose milk for the child
