A. Hello mom would recommend to first start with liquids for the baby and as the baby gets used to it you may introduce the baby to semi solids and mashed foods such as steamed vegetables or soups , fresh fruit juices or purée or porridge made with ragi or multigrain mix or kichidi , ghee or curds etc

A. Dear parent, you should include variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. You can give foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. Beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.
