#asktheexperts My baby is around 4 months old.. for past two days he is lifting his bum while lying on his back and also on my lap... what may be the reason? He didn't roll over yet.. when he will roll?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Colic in babies may be considered when baby is crying for more than 2 to 3 hours with no other specific reason and in a high pitched cry with arching of the body and flushed face.
There could be many causes for colic in babies like gerd immature digestive system allergies ingulping of aur while feeding and lactose intolerance.
Mothers diet and lifestyle can also be a major factor.
Management could be in form of medicines like probiotics digfgestive enzymes antiflatulence and some home remedies.
Avoidance of formula milk cow's milk . Cycling manuvours to relieve gas massage and proper burping after each feeding is also helpful .
