Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is 7weeks old. He was 2.9kgs at birth and 4.3kgs now. His feeding duration is not more than 10minutes. He passes urine around 10 times daily. He didnt poop for past three days. Is that normal? How often should he poop?

A. It is very common that children less than 6 months of age may not pass stool for sometime 10 days also. Slight discomfort as well as straining while passing urine and stool is also normal.x You have to just take care of colic pain as well as gas in the abdomen and do not worry about the frequency of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.x

A. The weight gain is normal the feeding is going good and constipation is completely normal as per the age of the child and if your child is taking feeding properly and the urine output as good as mentioned in the question then it is completely normal don’t worry about thisWrite Your Answer Here
