#asktheexperts my baby is 6 month old .afer feeding with cerelac she is passing hard stool like small balls and novel area is lit bit cracked .plz suggest how to treat it

Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given, so giving Cerelac will obviously cause indigestion to the baby after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. If your baby seems constipated, consider simple changes to your infant's diet: Water or fruit juice. Offer your baby a small amount of water or a daily serving of 100% apple, prune or pear juice in addition to usual feedings. These juices contain sorbitol, a sweetener that acts like a laxative.
