#asktheexperts my baby is 5 months old.she is having small bumps (like acne)on her body under cheeks,neck and chest. is this normal? she is breastfeeding only till now.

A. Red Colour Rash over the body if present could be some allergy rashes which may be of sudden onset along with itching. or it could be viral exanthematous rash where the the onset of rashes is there along with fever or assosiated symptoms. and it could be some infecftion also whicgh needs proper examination. Application of calamine lotion or Anti itch lotion like Ritch lotion can be done for soothing along with antiallergic medications initially.

Its Who said you to heat in the body because that’s very normal with kids at this age sometimes they can have acne on the entire body but sometimes that due to heat sometimes you to another region so first you need to be sure about it and only a doctor after a proper check up and give you a clarity on that
