Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 4 months old , she only drinks breast milk ,but I guess it is insufficient for her , what can I do that she drinks formula milk .?? or can I introduce solids to her .??

A. Hello good evening !! If baby is gaining weight ideally, sleeping well then feed is sufficient don't worry. If baby weight gain is less,not sleeping , crying immediately after feed , between sleep, tries to latch even after feed, cranky while feeding then insufficient feed. You can introduce formula milk if you really feel breast milk is insufficient ,or can improve your milk production by including milk, diary products, rusk, bread toast, papaya chikoo, garlic, garlic milk. Until 5 complete months exclusive breast milk or formula milk is suggested,from 6 month onwards start semi solid foods.
