#asktheexperts my baby is 4 month q s 12 days old, now we are excercising with him foe head lifting, but it seems his head is bit heavy for him so he doesn't lift his head properly, how we can help in this.

A. neck holding of the child should be present by 4 months to maximum 5 months of age.f regular massage of the back as well as the neck will help in strengthening the muscles of this area. if neck holdixng and head holding is not proper by the end of 5 months it is important to meet the doctor for examination to find the cause of delayed milestones

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and most of the babies start handling head up to six months age and please massage your baby twice and breastfeeding exclusively and can evaluate once with doctor in person for any doubt. Take care
