#asktheexperts my baby is 4 month old..he got vaccinated today.can u tell me amount of paracetamol dat can be given

A. 0.8ml 100mg paracetamol when fever comes after vaccination you can give Paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. Paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. Vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Hello dear parent, for such small baby it would be better to stay in touch with your paediatric and ask.for proper dosage of medicine. As nothing can be said here. For dosage for such small babies, baby's weigh t and age are known. Good luck and take care
