A. I havr noticed that, many doctors given Meftal when the temperature was gone up. But Don't give Meftal upto the age of 14 years. Meftal hsve too many serious side effects.Far Better and safe to give is Ibuprofen and paracetamol suspension if the temperature when high only (Ibugesic Plus). Note : Discuss with your doctors before take self medicine.

A. yes. paracetamol is first medicine to be repeated. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation.

A. You should repeat the medication in every 6 hours and that’s the correct way so if it has been 6 hours then u can give the medication again and also do cold sponging Ras that’s going to help in reducing down the temperature
