#asktheexperts my baby is 2 month old..whenever she was awake she used to take her head upward and legs too and started to push herself..then she cries? What would be the reason??

A. it can be due to colic issue gas trouble is common in newborns and is a cause of discomfort . Give tummy time to baby . Give only exclusive breastfeeding to baby . Burp baby for atleast 20 minutes on shoulder after each feeds . Massage baby tummy gently . Give drops gastica 1 ml 2 -3 times a day . Colic pain worsens at evening and night and baby cries at night and is unable to sleep due to pain . Give colic aid / drops meftal spas 0.5 ml at evening time . Breastfeeding reduces chances of colic pain .

A. good evening please check if the stomach is hard it is indication of the fact that the baby might be suffering from gas as a result of which the child is doing different activities to be able to get rid of that
