POOJA KOTHARIMom of a Newborn child4 months agoA. It’s completely normal for a one-year-old to not be walking independently yet. Many babies start walking between 12 to 18 months. Since your baby is already crawling and taking steps with support, she’s on the right track. Encourage her by giving plenty of floor time, letting her walk with push toys, and holding your hands for practice. Avoid using walkers, as they can delay walking. Every child develops at their own pace, so as long as she’s active and gaining strength, there’s no need to worry. If she’s not walking at all by 18 months, consult your pediatrician for evaluation.
