Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is 1month old. He spits up after I feed and gets uncomfortable, arches his back when I lie him down. I try to keep him in upright position, day time this works, however, night time he still gets uncomfortable when I lie him down. so I tried to make him sleep on his left side and slept peacefully..My question is, is it okay to make him sleep on his left side?

A. Hello mom if you can change the sides as well, right side is prefferable, also while feeding you may elevate his head a little with help of your palms which would help in easy flow of the feed.

A. Oh yes but I would just like to tell you that you should keep changing the position of the child in the night you can make your child sleep on the left side and during the daytime make it right side or back because if the child is constantly going to sleep on one side the head is going to be Flat from that side so you just have to take care of this and sleeping in any position other than sleeping or tummy is completely fine for initial six months
