#asktheexperts My Baby is 18months old..she is hardly to speak 4-5words.she is not interested to speak or listening , always shown interest to play a games.wat to.do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences p croperly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
