#asktheexperts My baby is 16days now and whenever he drinks milk after few minutes it comes out from mouth and at times from nose also. Why is it happening??

A. Hello, your baby boy is newborn just 16 days old and he is putting out the milk after breast feeding him so don’t worry just burp him properly after every feeding

A. for gastric trouble you can give collicaid or gastica drops to your baby.proper burping for about 20mins to half an hour on the shoulder and tummy time after every feed helps a lot.cyclic motion of legs also relieves gases . gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the digestive system,as well as usually in babies of 1- 3 months of age it is a very common finding to spit the milk after feed which is called as posseting.it can be reduced by giving a proper burping after every feed. please see that you are not dover feeding the child also .if it is very frequent you can give domstal drops also occasionally but only under medical guidance.you can give bonnisan drops too for better digestion.
