Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 14 months old and she is drinking milk from feeders which are being properly washed and sterilized. she had fever 103 2 days back, we took her to a doctor and he said that we need to stop using feeders because this is causing throat infection. is this true? how can a feeding bottle cause a throat infection?

A. No it can’t cause throat infection but bottle feeding should be stopped as early as possible otherwise layer kids don’t get rid of it easily so try to switch to glass or cup

A. As far as I know throat infections are not happening because of the feeders that you are using because if you are sterilising them really well that cannot be the reason throat infection could be due to various other reasons but as of now if you are doctors advising you not to go ahead with using feeders and you go ahead with using Straw and put it into a glass and feed your child with thatWrite Your Answer Here
