To help the baby gain healthy weight, it is important to include fat and protein rich foods in the diet like rice, potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, legumes, ghee, chicken, eggs, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado and 500-550 ml milk daily. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids.
