#asktheexperts my baby having blood clot on the hand that happens during blood collection on his 2nd day it’s growing as he grows and red in colour

A. That is not a blood clot. It is called a capillary hemangioma and if it is growing in size and show it to her doctor. Most of the time it will resolve on its own as a baby growsWrite Your Answer Here

A. If you are short distance blood collection only and nothing else then this is going to settle down on its own within sometime but still this is not looking like that where is looking like something else altogether so just to be on the safer side I’d recommend you a consultation with your doctor
