#asktheexperts my baby has fallen from bed but he is acting normal like everday shoukd i be concerned about anything

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with somgce analgesic like paracetamol.
Rtecurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally .
Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .

if she has vomiting , nausea , sleeplessness , unconsciousness , bleeding etc then please consult your pediatrician
please rub the affected area gently with palm
