Q.

#asktheexperts my baby has biliary atresia. Whem she was 3 months old had kasai surgery but their's not such changes in her poop. Also she is not gaining that much weight now she's 8 months old but she's just 6.3 kg. please suggest me what should I give her for weight gaining should I give her extra fat or not(like ghee,oil) she's formula feed baby i used to give her MCT oil on it. And which formula I should give her.

A. special opinion.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.

A. hi your child weighs really good. how you conclude that he/she is not gaining enough weight? please continue with homemade healthy food and breastfeeding as per your child requirements.

Q. y baby diagnosed with biliary atresia at the age of three months had kasai surgery but their is not such changes in her poop color. she is going to be 8 months old but her weight is just 6.3 kg. she's formula feed baby her dietitian suggests simyl formula but I don't think so she's gaining weight that much. cause of lack observation of fat should I give her extra fat like (Ghee,oil) I also used to give her MCT oil. please suggest me what should I give her for weight gaining and which formula is best for her.
