#asktheexperts my baby had 2 n half month vaccine but three days went he still have leg swelling at that part. plz suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.d
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. Keep ice cube on that area that is going to help and since if it has been three days and you really feel that the lump has formulated in that area then in that case I’m going to recommend you to consult your doctor once regarding the same
