Q.

#asktheexperts My baby got lump on injected area after her 10weeks vaccination, even though it's already been 5 days, it didn't get reduced yet even after ice cube massage, how to reduce this?

A. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentatiochn locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain.v Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

A. Now it is high time that you consult your paediatrician for this otherwise this is not going to subside honest phone it is better to check with your doctor that too what can you apply on this and just go ahead with whatever your doctor suggest you to use on this
