Q.

#asktheexperts my baby girl is going to become 6 months old.can I start with ragi wheat cereals and boiled rice ?what’s the quantity to give ? Can I feed cows milk to baby in small amounts ?

A. yes, can give rahi, wheat rice cerelac or porridge make sure to cooke ot well. it is best not to give your baby cow, buffalo , goat milk or any kind of milk until they are at least one year old

A. avoid giving cow's milk. best to offer breasfeeding till you can offer it.

A. hi as a child is 6 months old , you can give properly Cooked rice to your child. make sure it should be in well mashed form. give it in small quantity and follow 3 days rule.

I have been feeding my 6 months baby grinded boiled rice+ dal+peas everyday for many days but some elder told me to make seri ( ragi+wheat+rice ) as it is very healthy but my baby always vomit after eating it .if I give him grinded roti and milk he is able to digest why he is not able to digest ragi though ragi is easily digested
