Rekha GuptaMom of a 5 yr 2 m old boy6 days agoA. Keep her hydrated and use humidifier if possible. And you can also try gentle chest massage. You can also go for natural and ayurvedic syrup like kanthprash cough syrup by baby organo brand. If it persists beyond a week or fever/breathing issues shows up then please consult a pediatrician.

So whatever oral medicine is going to be appropriate to be given to the child can only be recommended by the doctor after physical assessment since it is dry cough it’s very irritable on the throat so you should definitely get examined by the doctor
