Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 months agoA. mam they are fontanelle and usually closes by itself by the age of 18 months. but sometimes it may take upto two years to close. they are important for brain development of the baby. please make sure that there are no vit D or calcium deficiency in the baby which can be the cause of delay in its closure.
