#asktheexperts my baby drinks milk 20 -30 mins in the day but during night he ask milk for every one hour for first half From past three days he s doing like that Kindly help me out

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for fixed feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .
also if the weight gain of the child every month is normal then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding
also rule out colic as the child might be crying due to colic pain and you may feel the child is hungry because any child crying due to any reason has got a natural sucking reflex.
