#asktheexperts My baby doesn’t sleep for long stretches even after being full, is it ok? Also she tries to put our fingers in her mouth, is it sign of teething as she is already drooling..

A. hi this is a sign of mouthing phase before teething phase starts. give your kid chilled silicon based teething rings to chew on. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip

Don't worry.The behavior you're seeing—putting fingers in the mouth and increased drooling—is typically part of the "mouthing phase." let them do..it's normal. they feel relaxed after doing this.you can use silicon toys to engage them but it's up to your choice. Just make sure that their hands are clean.It is very common and normal for a 3-month-old to sleep in shorter stretches.
