#asktheexperts my baby doesn't burp and she's 17 day old and she throws up after we put her down to bed after keeping her upright for 30 mins

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. newborn babies take a longer time to burp. even if it takes long please make the baby burp. otherwise baby will throw up. in the long run it will lead to gas and colic issues. put the baby on your shoulder and rub the back gently in upward to downward motion. let the stomach press against your shoulder.
