Q.

#asktheexperts My baby does not latch properly. Only catches the nipples while feeding and it hurts me. He is 1.5 months old. I tried stimulating his nose and cheeks but he does not open his mouth wide open.

A. Hello! Latch your baby, well onto your breast and make a good skin contact with your baby while you want to breastfeed. The more your baby takes in your breast milk directly. The better supply. Consult a lactation specialist to guide you further.
