A. It's understandable to be concerned if your 10-month-old baby is not yet sitting up on his own, but keep in mind that babies develop at different rates. Some babies may take a little longer to reach milestones like sitting up. However, there are things you can do to encourage his development. Tummy time is essential as it helps strengthen the muscles needed for sitting, crawling, and other movements. You can also try sitting your baby up with support and letting him practice balancing by propping him up with pillows or your hands. Gently encouraging him to reach for toys while in a sitting position can also help build strength and coordination. If your baby is not showing any other signs of developmental delays, like rolling over or reaching for objects, it may simply be a matter of time. However, if you're concerned, it's always best to consult your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues and get personalized advice.
