#asktheexperts My baby boy 4 months old sleeps very less.. What is the reason behind this ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Sleeping pattern in children may be variable in different age group so if the baby is active and taking proper feeding with no other complaints most of the time there is nothing to worry.
You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunfger.
In older children a g proper discipline is required so that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according to a proper time try to avoid too much of screen time with sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. sleep will be taken according to the need of the child so if the growth of the child is propedr do not worry much about the sleeping pattern it will obviously change from time to time and then stabilize.
if overall the child is play full and is well responding then do not worry dthe child will not have any problem
