A. Let's discuss one by one. Green stools are normal in formula fed babies. But if u r exclusively breastfeeding then Green stools may also be due to the fact that baby is getting only low fat fore milk(milk that comes first) as they don't feed longer in one breast and switch breasts pretty soon. If u let the baby feed longer in one breast then he will get the high fat hind milk which comes later. But if the green stools continue or the consistency of the poop changes like too loose or too tight then u can consult with your pediatrician once. Regarding vomit, How does the baby vomit? Is it whole milk? Then it could be because of overfeeding. The excess milk the baby takes more than he could hold stays in the esophagus and pops out as vomit. Some babies may spit up curdled milk, which has stayed in the tummy for longer time and popped out. Baby's tummy can hold only small amount of feed at any point of time. That's why babies feed less but more frequently. So Try reducing the feed from the usual quantity and make feeds more frequent. Burp the baby well and keep him in an upright position for some time before laying down. Laying the baby in a slightly elevated position with head high than the body can also help. Laying the baby on the left side will also help digestion. But if the baby vomits with a sour smell and more curdled with a different color , then it could be due to indigestion. In that case you should consult your pediatrician. He may prescribe medicine like domstal or anything else which will treat the indigestion problem. Since babies don't move much in the initial few months and always lay on their back it is normal for them to sweat a lot. And baby's body heat is released through the head. So the head can sweat a lot and feel hot compared to other body parts. But if u notice excessive hotness or sweating it's good to consult with your pediatrician once
